2 hours of CE Course #34225 ~ CE Provider Texas Association of REALTORS #001

"Dirt, Deals and Death: The Intersection of Commercial Real Estate and Estate Planning/Probate"

This course will discuss the intersection of estate planning and probate with commercial real estate.  Real estate professionals will gain an understanding of lifetime estate planning vehicles commonly used to hold real property and specifically, the implications for the purchase and sale of real estate when it is held in different types of entities and trusts.

The course will also examine issues encountered after a property owner’s death, such as how to determine ownership, who has authority to take action regarding the property, and options for working with property titled in the name of a deceased person.
